Melilla
kicks off a record-breaking year for the destination, which will double the number of cruise passengers
The Port of Melilla to carve out a niche in the competitive Mediterranean cruise industry is paying off, and forecasts indicate it will have three consecutive record-breaking years. In 2025, the Port of Melilla received approximately 7,100 passengers across 14 cruise ship calls, many of them luxury vessels, but that figure will pale in comparison to the projected 16,000 passengers expected in 2026.
