As this year comes to a close, Cruise Atlantic Islands would like to express its gratitude to all cruise passengers, shipping companies, operators and industry professionals who have placed their trust in our Atlantic destinations.
Each port of call and every shared experience reinforces our commitment to offering authentic, welcoming, and vibrant destinations. This gratitude extends to our customers, partners, and the entire cruise industry value chain—port authorities, institutions, service companies, and local communities—whose daily work enables Macaronesia to continue consolidating its position as a leading cruise route based on collaboration, sustainability, and a shared Atlantic identity.
During these special holidays, the light emanating from each of our destinations takes on a unique meaning. In Madeira, Christmas and New Year's Eve are celebrated in a truly singular way, with festivities that illuminate the ocean and remain etched in the memories of those who witness them. In Tenerife, music resonates with the sea breeze at the now-iconic Christmas Concert in the Port of Tenerife, which this year celebrates its 21st edition, uniting culture, emotion, and the sea. Cape Verde also joins in this festive atmosphere: in Mindelo, New Year's Eve begins with fireworks over the town and port, followed by a concert open to everyone, featuring several national artists.
For those wishing to discover perhaps lesser-known, but equally fascinating destinations, the Azores await. In São Miguel, Christmas is celebrated with genuine and heartfelt enthusiasm, a reflection of the hospitality of its inhabitants. Meanwhile, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the legendary arrival of the Three Kings once again blankets the city in a mantle of wonder and joy that touches the hearts of young and old alike.
All our destinations, each with its own unique character, transform during this time of year into places to savor diverse flavors, emotions, and traditions. At Cruise Atlantic Islands, we continue to illuminate the Atlantic, convinced that the future of cruise tourism lies in authenticity, collaboration, and shared experiences.
We wish you Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year, hoping to continue meeting in our ports and destinations throughout the coming year.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
