Next year, Hamburg-based three-Michelin-starred chef Kevin Fehling will be personally aboard Hapag-Lloyd Cruisesfor eight select cruises, delighting guests with his extraordinary culinary universe. As the creative mind and namesake of the gourmet restaurant THE GLOBE, he blends modern haute cuisine with maritime flair, creating a unique dining experience at sea exclusively aboard the EUROPA.

With his distinctive style, Fehling represents creative gastronomy of the highest quality and international renown. He was recently honored at the prestigious Best Chef Awards in Milan. Cruises with Kevin Fehling are now available for booking.
“Like the EUROPA, Kevin Fehling embodies standards of excellence and a passion for quality. His recent recognition at the Best Chef Awards impressively underscores his international appeal. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have him as an excellent partner, helping to shape the future of the EUROPA’s culinary offerings at the highest level,” says Isolde Susset, Managing Director of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
The collaboration between Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and Kevin Fehling represents innovation and excellence at sea. The three-Michelin-starred chef, based in Hamburg, has found a culinary second home at THE GLOBE. Since 2019, his gourmet restaurant aboard the EUROPA has offered contemporary haute cuisine that appeals to all the senses and sets new standards. Inspired by his travels around the world, Kevin Fehling combines flavors and techniques from diverse cultures in his menus, fusing them with creative sophistication and precise culinary mastery.

Kevin Fehling began his career as sous-chef on the EUROPA. The wide variety of aromas from around the world that he discovered during that time at sea continues to influence his cooking to this day. His credo—"Magic begins when you say a lot with a little"—describes his philosophy of reduction, as well as his desire to bring memories, emotions, and journeys to life through his culinary creations.
Thanks to his distinctive style, this exceptional chef is now one of the leading figures in German haute cuisine. In its first year of operation, his Hamburg restaurant, THE TABLE, received three Michelin stars, an honor it has maintained every year since. This is further enhanced by five black hats and 19 points from the prestigious Gault et Millau gastronomic guide, which further solidify his reputation.
“With THE GLOBE, I’ve realized my dream of having my own restaurant at the EUROPA,” says Fehling. And he has created a space that reflects his vision of contemporary haute cuisine: with meticulous attention to detail, a thoughtfully designed space, and a chef who welcomes guests with his own unique story
During his time on board, Kevin Fehling enjoys interacting directly with the passengers. He sometimes even explains the welcome letter that accompanies each menu at THE GLOBE. This personal touch makes the following cruises a particularly memorable experience:
