VIVA Cruises launches its program for 2027

VIVA Cruises has announced its most ambitious program to date, unveiling its full schedule of river cruises for 2027, with a fleet that will grow to nine ships.

VIVA Cruises launches its program for 2027The season will include several highlights, including the christening and launch of VIVA UNIQUE in Venice, which will later join VIVA BEYOND within the new premium category VIVA Boutique.

“This is the earliest launch we’ve ever made of an annual program, and it reflects our commitment to innovation, guest satisfaction, and strong partnerships,” said Andrea Kruse, CEO and co-founder of VIVA Cruises. “We’re excited to offer our guests more choices, greater flexibility, and truly unforgettable experiences like never before. With our international mix of passengers, we know that some markets tend to book earlier than others; that’s why we’re launching our program early, so everyone has the opportunity to plan their perfect river cruise.”

As one of the few river cruise lines operating year-round, the VIVA ONE, VIVA TWO, VIVA ENJOY, and VIVA BEYOND will begin their voyages in January, while the VIVA TIARA and VIVA RUBY will start in February. The VIVA MOMENTS and PORTO MIRANTE will set sail in March, followed by the addition of the VIVA UNIQUE in May.

To encourage early bookings, VIVA is offering a special onboard credit based on the cruise duration. This promotion is valid for bookings made between October 15 and November 15, 2025.

The new program includes a combination of inaugural routes and increased departures on existing routes. Highlights include new services between Basel and Brussels, Dresden and Prague, and Amsterdam and Nuremberg. The airline has also increased departures on some of its most popular routes, such as Amsterdam and Budapest.

The Porto Mirante, which will fully join the VIVA Cruises fleet in 2027, will offer a full season on the Douro River with 32 departures. Guests can also enjoy three-night city stay in both Paris and Venice.

Each ship in the fleet is strategically positioned to highlight Europe's most iconic waterways.

  • VIVA TIARA will sail along the Rhine, Main, Moselle, Danube and various canals and tributaries.
  • VIVA MOMENTS will focus on the Rhine and the Moselle.
  • VIVA ONE will operate on the Rhine, Main and Moselle.
  • VIVA TWO will cover the Rhine and the Danube.
  • VIVA ENJOY will also sail on the Danube and the Rhine.
  • PORTO MIRANTE will be destined for the Douro River.
  • VIVA RUBY will travel along the Rhine, Elbe, Spree, several canals and tributaries, and even the Baltic Sea.

The new VIVA Boutique line —with the VIVA BEYOND on the Seine and the VIVA UNIQUE on the Po River and the Venetian Lagoon— will offer a premium experience, with fewer passengers, refined service and destination-focused itineraries.

All VIVA Cruises cruises include the exclusive VIVA All-Inclusive concept, which covers high tea, full board, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, minibar service, beauty products, Wi-Fi and gratuities.
