Aurora Expeditions has launched its 2027 Small Ship Cruising season, now officially on sale. Featuring 21 extraordinary voyages across 22 countries, the season explores the sun-drenched Mediterranean and Adriatic, the vibrant Atlantic and African coasts, and the wild landscapes of Central America (Costa Rica and Panama), along with the historic treasures of Northern Europe and the UK and Ireland.
These unique voyages, ranging from nine to 17 days, are conducted aboard Aurora's three specially designed small expedition ships – Greg Mortimer, Sylvia Earle and the upcoming Douglas Mawson – vessels created to bring travelers to the heart of each destination and access ports that larger ships cannot reach.
Onboard, each voyage is enriched by Master Storytellers: renowned historians, genealogists, art experts, and more, who bring destinations to life with captivating presentations and personal perspectives in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Carefully curated stays before and after each journey ensure a seamless experience from beginning to end. Together, these elements make each cruise a perfect blend of iconic landscapes and untold stories.
On land, travelers enjoy a selection of “Your Choice” immersive experiences, allowing them to personalize each trip, while enrichment programs – from wine tastings to historical dives – make every day memorable.
Highlights range from UNESCO World Heritage sites and iconic ports such as Bonifacio, Nice and Dubrovnik, to hidden gems like the whitewashed Trulli houses of Alberobello, the Isle of Lewis in Scotland or the olive groves of Istria.
