Cruise lines maintain close contact with travel agents. These agents are essential to the success of cruise line sales, and it's crucial that they have comprehensive knowledge of the company: the ships, itineraries, services, target clientele, cabin types, the variety of experiences offered on each voyage, and so on. Their role is to then convey all this information to their clients, enabling them to offer the perfect vacation option for every occasion.

New for this season, Oceania Cruises presents Oceania Insider Connect, a new free business solution for travel agencies and a tool powered by Approach Guides technology to enhance the sales and marketing efforts of their travel agents.
“As we prepare for further growth with the addition of our eighth ship, the Allura, which will set sail next summer, this tool will support travel agents and contribute to our mutual success. Oceania Insider Connect is the kind of innovative technology that will make it easy and efficient to grow their business,” said Nikki F. Upshaw, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Oceania Cruises.
He continued: "With Oceania Insider Connect, travel agents can share the Oceania Cruises experience, boost engagement, and build lasting customer relationships, all with less work thanks to this free tool."
The new tool offers two operational solutions. The first is the instantly shared marketing pages of the cruise line, from which travel agents can share itineraries, onboard experiences, destinations, ships, and the latest Oceania Cruises promotions with their clients. The second is a dedicated cruise line website that includes real-time pricing and availability, accessible to travel agents at any time. This ensures that travel agents have access to the most up-to-date information.
In addition to pre-designed content experiences and offers with dynamic images, Oceania Insider Connect helps travel agents with their marketing, leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence to suggest social posts and customer emails, as well as creating dynamic QR codes linked to the agency's own website.
The new solution is powered by technology from Approach Guides, the content optimization platform for travel brands, and is the first iteration of a collaboration focused on championing the best innovative and easy-to-use apps for travel agents, enabling them to increase real-time information for customers.
Approach Guides co-founder and marketing director Jennifer Raezer commented: "We are thrilled that Oceania Cruises has adopted our new commercial marketing solution, adapting the underlying technology to the needs of their travel agents."
The company is offering an introductory webinar on this new tool on July 31st at 09.30 CEST for all interested travel agents.
The cruise lines belonging to the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings group, Norwegian Cruise Line and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, already have their respective versions of this service, NCL Connect and Regent Connect, with which they are achieving very positive results. Furthermore, the program continues to receive excellent feedback, and travel agents affirm that the platform's ease of use and customization help them better attract clients and sell more efficiently.
Oceania Cruises, a cruise company focused on destinations and gastronomy, is already enjoying this tool thanks to which travel agents can instantly have relevant information helping to successfully choose the ideal vacation for each client.
