Explora Journeys announces the new onboard entertainment program for EXPLORA I, starting today, July 5.
The goal of this fourteen-day program is to elevate the passenger experience with a series of nightly performances, interactive activities, and exclusive events.
Guests will enjoy performances with a new cast of international artists who will join the ensemble of musicians and hosts.
Digital activities: A first in the sector
A standout feature of the offering is the "Digital Activities," a pioneering initiative in the industry. Using special QR codes throughout the ship, passengers can participate in unique daily activities on their devices, such as Explora Journeys Trivia, Crosswords, and Word Searches themed around the destination, which are updated daily.
In addition, you can enjoy timeless games like Sudoku and Chess in any quiet spot on the ship.
This technology also allows travelers to make special musical requests directly to the artists. By scanning a QR code in the Astern Lounge during evening performances, they can view setlists, submit requests, choose songs, or even suggest new ones, creating an interactive and personal connection with the musicians.
Daytime activities: Improve the Ocean State of Mind
Daytime activities offer moments designed to enhance the Ocean State of Mind. Guests can enjoy spontaneous performances by musicians, artists, and wellness teams by the pool, all in harmony with the moment.
These experiences are complemented by specially paired drinks and snacks, ensuring that all desires are satisfied without leaving the perfect location.
Organized events and unique activities
Explora Journeys presents a program of new events that encourage passengers to forge new connections. Daily progressive events foster a sense of community, while one-off events and solo activities allow guests to choose their level of engagement.
The program of events includes more Rituals, Day Sports, Interactive Events and a new secret multi-day Murder Mystery game, ensuring that no one's moments of tranquility are disturbed.
Nighttime entertainment: A diverse musical experience
At night, the ship comes alive with live music, offering a different atmosphere in each space. From the relaxing European vibe of DJs by the pool to pre-dinner piano music in the Lobby and Explora lounges, the vibrant combinations of musician and vocalist in the Journeys Lounge, and contemporary music with the acoustic loop pedal duo in the Astern Lounge.
Later that evening, passengers are invited to the Explora Music Series, a nightly live show in the Journeys Lounge. Six new vocalists present a fourteen-night program with no repeats, supported by guest performances and luminaries.
This ensemble also plays various musical instruments, performing in diverse formations and at events throughout the ship. Evening options include performances on the main stage, intimate sessions in the lobby bar, nights in the Astern Lounge with dancing, and nightly events.
A summer of special performances
Throughout the journey, guests can enjoy all kinds of entertainment, from DJ and saxophone sessions to the Songbook series, which pays tribute to artists such as Billy Joel and Carole King.
New experiences include Voices of Vegas, featuring music from Sinatra to Adele, and Motor City, a musical revue showcasing leading musicians. New artists will also perform solo, backed by musicians, with Electric Violinists and West End singers among the resident lineup.
