That is exactly what we strive for, and our newly announced Antarctic cruises for 2025-2026 have been expertly designed to further build upon everything we have learned.”

The voyage to Cape Town was a spectacular 20-night cruise from Ushuaia, Argentina. After crossing the famed Drake Passage, its intrepid crew thoroughly explored the Antarctic Peninsula and then sailed northeast to Paulet Island, South Georgia, and the South Sandwich Islands, before continuing on to Gough Island, part of the world's most remote inhabited archipelago, and finally arriving in Cape Town. To enrich the journey as part of Swan Hellenic's Explore Space at Sea series in collaboration with the SETI Institute, the cruise guests were accompanied onboard and ashore by Dr. Jeffrey C. Smith, an expert in planetary science, AI, and data analysis.
