Following the start of the 2023/2024 Antarctic season, the expert crew of the Scenic Eclipse, led by Captain Radomir Novosel, and the specialized Polar Discovery Team have created an experience for guests on their 13-day "Antarctica in Depth" voyage.
The guests joined a helicopter excursion to land on the sea ice near Snow Hill Island in the Weddell Sea. There, they had the opportunity to observe the emperor penguin colony, home to more than 4,000 breeding pairs.
