Total passenger traffic through the 46 ports that make up the national system continues its strong upward trend, with a 27.6% increase through July, reaching 20.8 million passengers. Cruise passenger numbers, in particular, grew by 74.8%, totaling 6.1 million visitors in the first seven months of the year, surpassing the record figures of 2019, which saw a 7.6% increase compared to the same period last year, when 5.6 million cruise passengers were recorded.
