The Celestyal Journey will debut in September after a €20 million refurbishment in Piraeus. The cruise line detailed the dining, wellness, and entertainment facilities planned for the ship, which will launch in September.
Among the seven restaurants on the Celestyal Journey will be moonlit dining at Thalassa, Greek cuisine during the day, and Mediterranean fare. A grill and an Asian menu will also be available. Additionally, travelers can learn from the ship's culinary masters in the cooking demonstration area or enjoy a private dining experience at the new Chef's Table.
The new Fizz Club will offer cocktails and champagne for guests who, after dinner, want to gaze at the stars or relax to soft piano melodies in the Blue Bar & Lounge.
The Celestyal Journey is elevating the line's Mediterranean-style relaxation offering with the Sozo Experience, an entire deck inspired by the ancient Greek tradition of sozo, or well-being.
The ship will also feature a fitness area with a wide range of equipment, from cardio to weights, and a dedicated fitness instructor, as well as tennis and basketball courts and a jogging track. Other facilities include a sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, and the Dream Den relaxation area. Passengers can enjoy the new Sozo Spa or get a makeover at the new Glow Bar.
Guests of the suites have access to the Beach Club, a secluded and tranquil outdoor space with ice cream stands and juice corners.
As for entertainment, there will be live shows in the two-deck Amphitheater, as well as live music, cooking workshops, and lectures. The Celestyal Journey also features a range of activities and facilities to keep younger guests entertained, from a Kids' Club to arcade games.
In addition, the ship has two fully equipped conference rooms which, together with the multipurpose amphitheater, make the Celestyal Journey an ideal choice for meetings and incentive trips.
