MSC Cruises partners with PortAventura World, expanding its range of shore excursions and offering its customers new and valuable experiences.

The excursion will be available to passengers embarking in Valencia aboard the MSC Magnifica with a stop in the port of Tarragona, or those embarking and disembarking in Tarragona. Transfers from the port to the resort, located on the Costa Dorada, are included. During the 8.5-hour excursion, passengers will enjoy Shambhala, Europe's tallest (78 meters) and fastest (134 km/h) roller coaster until 2018, inspired by the Himalayas; hear the roar of the Dragon Khan roller coaster; or feel the fury of Hurakan Condor, the Aztec freefall from over 100 meters high.
Fernando Pacheco, Managing Director of MSC Cruises in Spain, commented: “At MSC Cruises, we are always looking for new partnerships that are attractive to our customers, and we believe that collaborating with PortAventura is an opportunity that fits perfectly with us on all levels. PortAventura World is not only synonymous with fun, but the design and attention to detail in each area of the park transports you to a different destination, which will undoubtedly add value to our customers' experience.

David García, CEO of PortAventura World, explained: “This collaboration with MSC Cruises, one of the world’s leading cruise lines, allows us to target domestic and European cruise passengers with a complementary leisure offering during their stop in Tarragona. Furthermore, by opening this new channel for attracting visitors from their home countries, we reinforce our commitment to continued growth in France, our primary international market, and it also enables us to open up other markets such as Italy.”
