The Marella Voyager will have two godmothers, both TUI employees with 40 years of experience in the cruise industry: Tatyana Olkhovska, head of purchasing, and Jacqui Nobile, director of destination services operations.

Marella appealed to TUI management to select two of their most deserving employees. Managers were asked to consider seniority and to propose the names of those who had grown alongside Marella on her journey over the years.
Jacqui Nobile Nobile started working for TUI in 1994 as a representative in Menorca and, since moving to cruises in 1996, has held various positions until becoming part of the cruise management team, with responsibility for TUI's land experiences program.
Tatyana Olkhovska began working at Marella in 2003 as a receptionist. In 2017, she was promoted to chief purser. In 2023, Olkhovska will celebrate twenty years at Marella.
Both will perform the traditional ceremonial functions at the christening ceremony of the Marella Voyager, which will take place in Malaga on May 31, before its launch in June.
