To commemorate its 150th anniversary in 2023, Holland America Line is introducing expanded Legendary Voyages, longer cruises ranging from 25 to 59 days, combining Holland America Line's Grand Voyages ceremony with itineraries that include a wide collection of ports.
Most Holland America Line Legendary Voyages sail to and from a North American homeport. Itineraries are offered on a variety of the line's ships, taking guests to Australia and New Zealand, the Amazon and South America, the South Pacific and Hawaii, Greenland and Iceland, Asia, Alaska, and the Arctic Circle.

Highlights of Legendary Journeys:
– Three Legendary Voyages are new itineraries for Holland America Line:
- The previously announced 28-day “Arctic Circle Solstice” cruise heads north of the Arctic Circle and features 11 stops in Alaska.
- “Majestic Japan”, a 53-day cruise with 21 ports in total, 13 stops throughout Japan, and overnight stays in Yokohama (Tokyo) and Kobe.
- “Coral Triangle, Volcanoes and The Great Barrier Reef”, a 28-day cruise that explores 10 ports in five countries, with scenic cruises through the Great Barrier Reef, the Torres Strait and the Kumba and Krakatau volcanoes.
– The itineraries focus on a specific region, visiting some of the most unique ports and offering guests an in-depth exploration.
Guests will enjoy Grand Voyages' onboard programming with experiences such as themed parties, excursions, and classic cruise activities.
– The onboard programming is designed to share knowledge about the history and culture of the destinations visited.
Guests enjoy more time in port with overnight stays in iconic ports such as Anchorage, Alaska; Hobart, Tasmania; Honolulu, Hawaii; Manaus, Brazil; Moorea, French Polynesia; Papeete, Tahiti; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Yokohama (Tokyo) and Kobe, Japan.
