Seabourn will offer a new expedition cruise program for summer 2024 and winter/spring 2025 aboard its two new expedition ships, the Seabourn Venture and the Seabourn Pursuit. The program also includes the company's first visit to the Kimberley region of northern Australia.
Seabourn Pursuit
The Seabourn Pursuit will visit Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and sail to the South Pacific from Chile to Melanesia between March and October 2024.
It will offer six 10-day trips to the region between Broome and Darwin in June, July, and August 2024 with the expedition team. Highlights include Matakus Island, El Questro National Park, Montgomery Reef, and more.
The Seabourn Pursuit will operate a series of 15-day voyages to Papua New Guinea and West Papua in May and June and again in August and September 2024, with combined voyages of up to 35 days also available. The itinerary also includes a rare visit to Agats, as well as the islands of Misool, Wayag, and
Gam, part of Indonesia's Raja Ampat (“Four Kings”), and some of the most biodiverse tropical waters on the planet.
In March and April and again in September and October 2024, the Seabourn Pursuit will sail between the South Pacific islands and the coast of Chile through a series of 14, 17 and 20 day voyages, with combined voyages of up to 37 days also available.
Seabourn Venture
The sister ship, the Seabourn Venture, returns for another season in the UK, Ireland, Norway, Greenland, Iceland and the Canadian Arctic.
The Seabourn Venture will offer three 14-day voyages between Greenwich (London) and Leith (Edinburgh) in April and May 2024, with two different itineraries and availability for combined trips of up to 28 days.
The Seabourn Venture will sail through Norway, Greenland, Iceland, and the Canadian Arctic from June through September 2024. Expedition options include a number of 11- and 12-day itineraries in Svalbard, a 15-day voyage from Svalbard to Greenland to Iceland, an 11-day circumnavigation of Iceland, and 11- to 15-day voyages in Iceland and Greenland before closing out summer 2024 with a 14-day voyage from West Greenland to St. John's, Newfoundland. Combined 28-day voyages will also be available.
Both expedition ships will spend time at the bottom of the world, with the Seabourn Pursuit offering the Seabourn Antarctic Experience on a 21-day voyage starting in February 2024, and then on 11 voyages of 11, 13, or 21 days from October 2024 through mid-March 2025. The Seabourn Venture will also head south following its Arctic exploration with nine voyages of 11, 13, or 21 days with the Seabourn Antarctic Experience from November 2024 through March 2025.
The Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture are built for diverse environments according to PC6 Polar Class standards and equipped with the latest hardware and technology to expand their global employment and capabilities.
Each expedition ship is 558 feet long and has approximately 30,000 square feet of deck space. The indoor and outdoor guest areas offer nearly 270-degree views. There are 132 oceanfront suites per ship, all with verandas.
