Everything is ready for the delivery – later this year – of the highly anticipated Seven Seas Grandeur, following its launching ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. With a capacity for 756 passengers, this new ship has been built with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental protection.
While they tackle the final phase of construction and design, which is highly innovative and true to the essence of Regent Seven Seas, the luxury cruise line - belonging to the Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings group - has launched numerous proposals to commemorate its 30th anniversary throughout 2023.
According to Andrea DeMarco, president of Regent Seven Seas, "the Seven Seas Grandeur has proven to be so popular that we had to create an additional sailing for its inaugural season."
Regent Seven Seas' sixth ship and the latest addition to the world's most luxurious fleet, Seven Seas Grandeur will set sail in November 2023, sailing 18 incredible voyages in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, as well as two transatlantic crossings, all ranging from 7 to 16 nights in length.
The inaugural voyage collection includes a new departure, added due to strong demand, that spends 7 nights discovering the Adriatic and Western Mediterranean from Venice (Trieste) in Italy to Barcelona.
One of the trips that are part of the Around the World tour - and whose 2024 and 2025 itineraries have the last available places on sale due to high demand - is the one that sets sail on April 16 from Dubai and arrives in Cape Town after 20 nights of itinerary.
Another of the novel proposals is the itinerary that will begin in Cape Town on May 6, in which for 24 nights Namibia will be visited, including safaris, Saint Tomé and Príncipe, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cape Verde and, already in our country, it will stop at the ports of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Arrecife (Lanzarote) and after a stop in Agadir (Morocco), it will continue to the ports of Motril, Alicante and Barcelona, where on May 30 the guests will disembark to visit the Catalan capital and return to their respective countries.
In this way, Regent Seven Seas also includes hotels for those embarking beforehand in Cape Town or disembarking later in Barcelona. And it is in Cape Town that the journey to Barcelona begins for those guests who wish to complete longer legs of their round-the-world voyage in less time.
