Oceania Cruises' new Oceania Riviera will sail in Asia for the first time due to unprecedented demand for the 2023-2024 season.
The ship, with a capacity for 1,238 passengers, will offer travelers the most elegant way to explore some of Asia's most breathtaking locations, placing cultural immersion and culinary excellence at the heart of the travel experience.
Better than new, the Riviera will make a splash in Asia as it charts its inaugural season in the region, sailing through Arabia, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Its new season offers 25 unique voyages ranging from 10 to 82 days. Meanwhile, the Regatta and Nautica will greatly expand the line's offerings in the exotic South Pacific, with more opportunities than ever to explore sought-after destinations such as New Zealand, Australia, and French Polynesia.

Passengers will also have the opportunity to explore what were once forbidden corners of Asia, such as Yangon, and other off-the-beaten-path locations like Japan's remote Ishigaki Island and Vietnam's ancient imperial city of Hue, traversed by the Perfume River.
The Riviera has undergone a radical renovation, debuting with all its staterooms and suites reimagined, featuring luxurious residential comfort, custom furnishings, wood finishes, and design details that exude the essence of Oceania Cruises elegance. Some highlights of the reimagined ship include:
- The “Concierge Level Veranda” and “Veranda” cabins are the largest of the standard cabins afloat at 291 square meters.
- All cabins offer an elegant, warm and comforting home feel with stylish redesigned bathrooms and new furnishings.
- All the cabin bathrooms are lined with Italian marble, custom-made fabrics in harmonious tones that evoke painted deserts and peaceful skies, and every touch possesses the modernity of the Milanese house.
- The Riviera have been upgraded with new plush carpeting and leather-upholstered armchairs.
- All the common lounges, bars and dining areas have been elegantly redesigned, enhancing social and epicurean experiences while maintaining a “home away from home” atmosphere.
- The Grand Dining Room reflects a renewed sense of grandeur, radiated by the gleaming chandelier, plush carpets, and plush leather armchairs.
- Dining alfresco has been completely renovated with a charming new trattoria, which every night offers a wide variety of wood-fired pizzas, succulent grilled Italian specialties, tempting salads and exquisite desserts.

The Riviera will make 25 voyages, ranging from 10 to 82 days, offering a series of experience-rich destinations in ports such as Cochin, India, Yangon, Burma, Busan, South Korea; and Phuket and Bangkok in Thailand.

- The 72-day Epic Eastern Explorer itinerary aboard the Rivierasails from Mumbai, India to Tokyo, Japan, with overnight stops in Malé, Maldives; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Singapore; Hanoi (Ha Long Bay), Vietnam; Shanghai, China; Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam; Seoul, South Korea; Kyoto (Kobe); and Tokyo, Japan; plus two nights in Yangon, Myanmar; Bangkok, Thailand; and Hong Kong, China.
