The Ponant Cruises ship, Le Champlain, departs from Mahé (Seychelles) to explore the Seychelles Islands in depth. Currently in peak season, the cruise heads towards Sainte Anne Marine National Park and then visits the islands of Rémire, Curieuse, Aride, La Digue, and Praslin. This nine-day cruise aboard a luxury ship with 92 suites for 184 passengers offers every amenity that discerning guests expect on exotic itineraries designed for a complete experience. The goal is to combine fine dining, culture, sports, adventure, and relaxation in a paradisiacal setting.

Ponant Cruises will be the first expedition cruise line to offer a voyage to the tropical islands of southern Japan, with a new eight-day itinerary aboard Le Soleal from Taiwan to Okinawa. Departing in March 2023, this week-long cruise will offer an immersive experience in the traditional villages and crafts of the Okinawa and Ryukyu Islands archipelago, with snorkeling, diving, and Zodiac excursions, and the opportunity to discover the beaches of Ishigaki and Kume.

In addition, the company has presented the itinerary for each and every one of the Canary Islands and Madeira, a proposal that, with the Easter holidays in mind, is proving very successful for both the Spanish public and a more international audience.

Paul Gauguin Cruises, for its part, offers itineraries through French Polynesia year-round, with sailings departing from Papeete where you can witness Bora Bora's breathtaking sunsets. All of this is done with the firm commitment of this small cruise company to sustainable tourism.

Paul Gauguin Cruises tries to convey aspects such as the size of its ships, the type of operations tailored to the cutting edge of environmental care, support for nature protection and the care of cultural heritage, and the social and economic benefits for local communities.

Ponant Cruises has recently been named the best small cruise line and expedition cruise line, and continues its mission to achieve zero impact by sailing its 14th ship.

Following the launch last year of Le Commandant Charcot, the world's only luxury icebreaker, a hybrid electric vessel powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), PONANT's R&D team is finalizing the details of the latest eco-friendly cruise ship that will have no impact on the environment while sailing.

Committed to responsible tourism, PONANT constantly strives to reduce the environmental footprint of its operations, protect marine ecosystems, and support scientific research. The goal is to deliver a vessel capable of combining various non-fossil fuel energy sources, including wind propulsion, through the integration of technological building blocks. The aim is to have the vessel operational by 2025.
