MSC has become the official cruise line partner of the New York Knicks, following the announcement of its multi-year marketing partnership with Madison Square Garden Sports Corp.

Through this partnership, MSC will receive significant brand exposure during all Knicks games at the Garden, including LED signage and virtual signage on the court. The cruise line will also sponsor the in-game jersey reveal for the Knicks.
As the Knicks' first global rights marketing partner, the organization will work with MSC Cruises to create new activations in international markets, which could include Italy, Germany, England, and Brazil.
“Our partnership with MSG and the New York Knicks is a symbol of our global commitment to New York City with the upcoming launch of year-round cruises from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal aboard the MSC Meraviglia,” said Rubén A. Rodríguez, President of MSC Cruises USA. “At MSC Cruises, we focus on enhancing the communities we serve by supporting families and promoting sustainability efforts. MSG and the Knicks share these priorities, and we are delighted to join forces right here in New York City, as well as across the more than 40 countries that make up our global itineraries.”
Together, the Knicks and MSC Cruises will partner on a sustainability initiative that will make a donation to an ocean conservation cause for every three-pointer made by the Knicks this season. Throughout the year, GardenVision and the Knicks’ digital channels will feature stories about the program and provide updates on the total amount donated to date.
This spring, the Knicks will host a Jr. Knicks clinic on the basketball court of the MSC Meraviglia during its inaugural port call at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. Clinic participants will take part in basketball drills, skills training, and conditioning, as well as games led by the Jr. Knicks coaching staff. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet former Knicks players and will receive branded merchandise from the Knicks and MSC Cruises.
MSC Cruises will also be featured on the digital billboards outside Madison Square Garden, visible to the millions of people who pass by the Garden every day.
