Silversea Cruises' 2023 World Cruise sets sail from Sydney on January 10. This marks the company's first-ever World Cruise departing from the Southern Hemisphere. The Silver Shadow℠ will welcome guests on this 139-day, arts-inspired voyage, sailing from the South Seas to the Amazon rainforest and beyond, with stops at 66 destinations in 34 countries across five continents.

Guests traveling aboard the 2023 World Cruise depart Sydney on January 10, 2023, and arrive in Fort Lauderdale on May 28. The itinerary features an extraordinary mix of destinations, from the remote wonders of Papua New Guinea, Mauritius, Réunion Island, and Cape Verde to iconic regions and cities, including 10 days exploring Tasmania and New Zealand, three days in Myanmar, and a full week in South Africa. And, for the first time on a Silversea World Cruise, the Silver Shadow will sail the Amazon River to discover the natural and cultural wonders of this legendary region. Traveling through captivating landscapes, each segment will reveal the history, culture, and spirit of the people and places visited.
The first night in Sydney includes a special Bon Voyage reception and dinner. Afterward, exclusive World Cruise events will unlock the sights, flavors, and rhythms of local life, showcasing regional music, art, theater, and dance traditions with authentic performances.
In another Silversea first, each guest will enjoy a seamless World Cruise that begins and ends at their doorstep, with private transfers to and from their local airport. Guests will also benefit from private assistance to their gate/lounge, as well as access to airline-designated VIP lounges. Upon arrival in Sydney, travelers will be greeted with VIP arrival assistance, private executive transfers, and priority boarding. The Silver Shadow will be on hand to assist passengers with unpacking once onboard.
