The Seabourn Sojourn will sail from Sydney and will be the star of the round-the-world voyage, which covers 61 destinations on 6 continents over 140 days of sailing, including 30 nights from Cape Town or 12 days from Dakar, with the final stop in Barcelona.
Seabourn offers a range of segments with complementary itineraries. Guests wishing to embark on a grand voyage aboard a long-distance luxury cruise can choose between the full route or shorter segments. This time, Barcelona is the final destination, making it even more appealing to guests from Mediterranean countries and to Spanish travelers considering embarking on one of these enticing journeys for the first time.
On March 7, for example, Seabourn Sojourn will set sail from Sydney visiting: Australia, Indonesia, Seychelles, Kenya, Zanzibar, South Africa, Namibia, Benin, Ghana, Togo, Gambia, Senegal, Cape Verde, Canary Islands (Gran Canaria and Lanzarote), Morocco and will finally arrive in Barcelona on May 2.
But another Spanish port will also feature as the origin or final destination of two major itineraries in 2024. This is Málaga, which will receive a Seabourn Venture sailing from Buenos Aires on February 21, 2024, and arriving in Málaga on April 2. Alternatively, passengers can depart from Málaga on April 2 and disembark in Greenwich, London, on April 14.
All of this is complemented by intimate luxury yachts accommodating 450 or 604 passengers, with all accommodations in suites. The marine platform, where guests can enjoy all kinds of water sports such as sailing, diving, kayaking, or jet skiing, is another unique feature of these vessels.

New expedition yacht for next year
The big news for next year is the construction of Seabourn Pursuit, which began in the fall of 2020 during a ceremony in San Giorgio di Nogare, Italy, and is well underway. The ship is scheduled for delivery in October 2023, beginning its inaugural season in the Caribbean, South America, and Antarctica.
Seabourn Pursuit , as well as its sister ship Seabourn Venture, are designed and built for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards and include state-of-the-art hardware and technology that will expand the ships' global deployment and capabilities. Each carries two custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs, kayaks, and a 26-person expert expedition team whose role is to engage guests throughout each voyage.
