Scenic has confirmed that the Scenic Eclipse II is scheduled to set sail in April 2023, as construction is progressing according to plan. The Scenic Eclipse II's maiden voyage will be the Incredible Iberian Discovery itinerary, sailing for 11 days from Lisbon to Barcelona, departing on April 13, 2023.
Scenic has released some details of the new ship as its construction nears completion. Among the new additions is an expanded wellness area. The spa on the Scenic Eclipse II features a steam room, an integrated ice fountain and experience showers, as well as a KLAFS personalized salt therapy room with heated beds, enhancing the experience already provided on board the Scenic Eclipse. In addition, Deck 10 will feature a new bar area with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a large pool with a relaxation area, according to Scenic.
Other destinations include the Scottish coast with the 9-day Scottish Isles: Historic Trails & Wilderness cruise, departing from Edinburgh on September 13, 2023, and exploring the north of the island. Another option is the Reefs & Volcanic Isles: Tahiti to Fiji cruise, which takes guests from Tahiti to Bora Bora, via some of the Cook Islands, to Fiji and beyond. The ship will spend 13 days visiting some of the most famous islands of French Polynesia and the South Pacific, departing on March 31, 2024.
