Royal Caribbean International has appointed Alberto Iruretagoyena as its new Regional Sales Manager for the Southern Region. In his new role, Alberto will coordinate relationships with travel agencies in Andalusia, Murcia, and Extremadura, a strategically important territory for the company, which also operates from the ports of Cartagena, Cádiz, and Málaga.
Sergio Arévalo, Head of Sales for Spain at Royal Caribbean International, explained: “Alberto’s arrival to our team confirms our commitment to travel agencies in Andalusia, Murcia, and Extremadura. His addition strengthens our team in Spain, reaffirming our ambitions and support for this market. Alberto will lead the commercial relationship and growth in the region, working closely with travel agencies in this important territory for Royal Caribbean International.
For his part, Alberto Iruretagoyena commented: “We continue to expand the range of services offered on board our cruise ships, which is resulting in a better market reception and greater traveler loyalty to our brand. My goal in my new role is to work hand in hand with travel agencies so they can offer their clients the best possible experience in the form of unforgettable vacations.
With a degree in Business Administration and a master's degree from IE Business School, before joining Royal Caribbean International, Alberto Iruretagoyena worked at Cabify as Senior Project Manager, responsible for alliances and City Hubs in Spain.
