Silversea opens sales for Silver Endeavour's Antarctic cruises

Silversea Cruises has opened sales for the inaugural season of its new ship, the Silver Endeavour, one of the world's most advanced and luxurious expedition ships, which will make 12 voyages to Antarctica starting November 21, 2022, on trips ranging from 5 to 20 days.

Running from November 21, 2022 to March 14, 2023, the Silver Endeavour's will comprise 12 immersive voyages:

  • 10 Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise voyages: beginning November 21. Offering the fastest and most direct route to the White Continent, Silversea's Antarctica Bridge allows travelers to fly directly to King George Island in the comfort of European business class to board the ship. Guests will journey deep into Antarctica on voyages of five to nine days, exploring destinations such as the Antarctic Peninsula, Antarctic Sound, and the South Shetland Islands. In addition, 20 expedition experts, including marine biologists, historians, naturalists, archaeologists, and more, will share their knowledge with guests on each voyage aboard the Silver Endeavour, offering one of the most personalized expedition experiences at sea.Silversea opens sales for Silver Endeavour's Antarctic cruises
  • Deep South Antarctic Expedition : Departing from Puerto Williams on February 12, 2023, the Silver Endeavour will travel to the South Shetland Islands, Antarctic Sound, and the Antarctic Peninsula before attempting to cross the 69th parallel south on Silversea's first 20-day Deep South expedition. Facilitated by the ship's PC6 ice class rating—among the highest of any expedition vessel—and its state-of-the-art navigation and exploration technology, the cruise will offer travelers the opportunity to access some of the world's most remote and extreme destinations, explore Antarctica firsthand, and witness the continent's rare wildlife and unique landscapes.
  • New 10-day voyage to the Antarctic Peninsula: departing round-trip from Puerto Williams on March 4, 2023. Spending six days exploring the peninsula, travelers are likely to see penguin colonies, as well as several other bird species; different species of seals; and more marine life. Silver Endeavour's will enhance the guest experience with its remote gimbal camera system, remotely operated underwater vehicle, and industry-leading ratio of expert crew members to Zodiacs per guest.

Silversea opens sales for Silver Endeavour's Antarctic cruisesThe Silver Endeavour will offer guests unparalleled comfort, with a 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio and some of the most spacious balcony suites on expedition cruises, with accommodations ranging from 33 m²to 174 m²between decks five and eight. Silversea has unveiled seven suite categories for the Silver Endeavour:

  • Owner's Suite: With 174 m²and a 69 m² balcony,it enjoys a premium position at the bow on deck seven. It offers sweeping views and features a large living room, separate dining room, bar area, and two spacious en-suite bedrooms.
  • The Grand Suite – located forward on deck seven, spans 155 m²and features a 64 m² balcony.The suite offers panoramic views of the destination from both its large balcony and interior. The spacious interior comprises a living room, separate dining room, bedroom with dressing room and bathroom. An additional sleeping area can accommodate a third guest.
  • Silver Suite – Eight 50m² Silver Suites on deck eight, with floor-to-ceiling windows in all living areas and 7m² balconies . The interior of the Silver Suite features a comfortable living room, separate dining room, bedroom with a large dressing room and bathroom.
  • Premium, Deluxe, Superior, and Classic Veranda Suites: 90 Premium, Deluxe, Superior, and Classic Veranda Suites are located between decks five and eight, maintaining the signature design of Silversea's most popular accommodation option. Each 33m²Veranda Suite includes a spacious walk-in closet; a well-appointed bathroom with a large walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet; and ample living and sleeping areas with convertible sofas and a desk. The 5m² balconiesoffer panoramic views of the destination.
