Helsinki Shipyard, after receiving bids for the auction of the NB 517, has announced that Swan Hellenic has won the tender.
Helsinki Shipyard exercised its right to sell the vessel by auction, as stipulated in the shipbuilding contract, after the original buyer refused delivery. The auction concluded at midnight on Friday, June 24, and was successful for Helsinki Shipyard, which reviewed the bids and declared Swan Hellenic the winner.
The vessel will be delivered to Swan Hellenic, as planned, as soon as all registration formalities in the Bahamas have been completed, and Swan Hellenic becomes the sole owner of the SH Vega.
The ship will begin operating in the Arctic from July 20th, as planned.

We look forward to welcoming our guests aboard the SH Vega to experience our cultural expedition cruises with sophisticated elegance, departing from Tromsø, Norway, on July 20.”
