Holland America Line is celebrating its upcoming 75th anniversary in Alaska with a sweepstakes offering 75 seven-day Alaskan cruises. Anyone wishing to win a cruise for two to Alaska can enter until February 13, 2022. Winners will be notified starting February 21 and can embark on their Alaskan adventure between April and September 2022.
“Holland America Line has been exploring Alaska longer than any other cruise line and even longer than Alaska has been a state,” said Beth Bodensteiner, senior vice president and chief commercial officer of Holland America Line. “With our deep knowledge, experts and media have named us the number one cruise line in Alaska.”
Guests on Alaskan cruises are immersed in the local culture through onboard programming, cruise activities, and shore excursions. Experts lead workshops, lectures, talks, and excursions that highlight the best of each destination. Holland America Line also includes cooking demonstrations and food events on its cruises that showcase the region's culinary traditions.
In 2022, six Holland America Line ships will explore Alaska, either round-trip from Seattle, Washington; round-trip from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; or between Whittier, Alaska, and Vancouver. All Alaska cruises include a visit to one or more of Alaska’s iconic glacier destinations: Glacier Bay National Park, Hubbard Glacier, and the twin Sawyer Glaciers of Tracy Arm.
For explorers who want to delve deeper into the Big Earth, there are 16 trips that combine an Alaskan cruise with an exploration of the interior of Denali National Park or the pristine areas of Canada's Yukon Territory.
