Regent Seven Seas Cruises has begun construction of the Seven Seas Grandeur, with the ship's steel-cutting ceremony taking place at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy, on November 2, 2021. “The Seven Seas Grandeur will be the culmination of Regent’s rich history of providing discerning travelers with unparalleled experiences, every imaginable luxury included, and immersive exploration around the world,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “We are thrilled to once again be in the hands of Fincantieri’s talented engineers, who will build a ship of refined style, unmatched elegance, and breathtaking beauty.”.
Designed by the award-winning Studio DADO, the Seven Seas Grandeur will accommodate only 750 guests and have a gross tonnage of 55,500, providing one of the highest space-to-staff ratios in the industry. It is a sister ship to the Seven Seas Explorer and the Seven Seas Splendor.
Recent reveals of Seven Seas Grandeur, which will embody the luxury cruise line's legacy of perfection, include 15 luxurious and spacious suite categories, the crown jewel being the palatial 412-square-meter Regent Suite, complete with its own in-suite spa. Also unveiled were the exquisite specialty restaurants Prime 7 and Chartreuse, along with the captivating reimagined design of the largest specialty restaurant at sea, Compass Rose, offering an unprecedented and fully personalized epicurean experience with an unparalleled array of gourmet options available each evening.

The Seven Seas Grandeur will begin its inaugural season in November 2023, making 17 incredible voyages around the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, plus 2 fascinating transatlantic crossings, all of them between 7 and 16 nights in length.
