The Ruby Princess is the sixth MedallionClass ship in the Princess Cruises fleet to return to service, departing from the Port of San Francisco. The ship welcomed its first passengers aboard with a special ceremony before sailing under the iconic Golden Gate Bridge for an 8-day cruise along the California coast, returning on November 7.
The cruise will sail from the Port of San Francisco to various exotic destinations, including Mexico, Hawaii, the California coast, Alaska, and the Panama Canal, with cruises ranging from 5 to 15 days and already available for booking through 2023.

The Ruby Princess boasts nearly 900 balcony cabins with panoramic views, a variety of entertainment options including Movies Under the Stars and original musical productions, diverse dining choices ranging from the Crown Grill to the Italian Trattoria Sabatini, and new on-deck restaurants such as Slice Pizzeria and Coffee & Cones. Guests can also unwind with rejuvenating spa treatments, the tranquility of The Sanctuary, an adults-only retreat on the upper deck, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Earlier this month, another Princess cruise ship, the Majestic Princess, arrived in San Francisco for an overnight port call, becoming the first cruise ship to bring guests to San Francisco since the industry shutdown. The Port of San Francisco welcomed Princess Cruises, acknowledging the financial impact on local businesses. Now, with the arrival of the Ruby Princess, small, family-owned waterfront businesses will continue to benefit.
