Celebrity Cruises today announced its exciting 2023 European voyages, offering more than 45 overnight stays in eleven different cities across seven of its stunning ships. Travelers can set sail on Celebrity Cruises’ three newest and most innovative Edge-class ships: Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Apex, and Celebrity Edge, along with the recently refurbished Celebrity Silhouette, and the renowned Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Infinity, and Celebrity Reflection.
Spectacular itineraries ranging from four to 13 nights, and more seven-night departures available than ever before. Guests will have the opportunity to reconnect in some of the world's most breathtaking destinations, including the picturesque village of Flåm (Norway); home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Alexandria (Egypt); the foodie paradise of Lisbon (Portugal); the historic maritime city of Kotka (Finland); the ancient and renowned city of Jerusalem (Israel); and many more.
In an unprecedented voyage, the Celebrity Apex will depart from its home port in Amsterdam for a nine-night journey through the captivating Norwegian fjords, with a visit to Oslo and a return to the historic village of Flam, allowing guests to soak up the scenic beauty of Northern Europe in luxurious style.
In addition, the Celebrity Apex will be the first ship in the fleet to visit Egypt since 2012, with a new ten-night sailing through Israel, Egypt, and the Mediterranean. The sailing will include an overnight stay in Alexandria, where guests can explore the largest city in the Mediterranean and visit the great ancient pyramids and the Sphinx—a bucket-list experience for travelers worldwide. Other itineraries include the spectacular beauty of the British Isles, Iceland and Ireland, Portugal, Spain, and Malta, among others.
Like its sister ships, Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex, named by TIME magazine as one of the best places in the world in their early seasons, Celebrity Beyond will feature innovative exterior design and visionary spaces from world-renowned designers, aiming to offer guests endless opportunities to reconnect with the world while immersing themselves in the magnificent history and culture that Europe has to offer.
Redefining luxury once again, Celebrity Beyond will return to Europe after its debut season in 2022, sailing the Eastern Mediterranean from Rome. At the helm is pioneering captain Kate McCue, who takes command of this new ship, brought to life by a dream team of modern lifestyle icons, including multi-award-winning British designer Kelly Hoppen CBE; celebrated American designer Nate Berkus; the culinary expertise of Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud; and the wellness experiences and products of goop CEO and founder Gwyneth Paltrow, the brand's wellness advisor.
