The Port of the Bay of Cadiz received on October 5 the simultaneous call of four cruise ships that brought on board almost 9,500 people, including passengers and crew.
This is the first day four ships have been in port simultaneously since this traffic was halted due to the pandemic in March 2020. This October, moreover, figures are returning to pre-pandemic levels. Eleven calls are expected this week alone, and 50 are scheduled throughout the month.
If the forecasts are met, the Port of Cadiz will receive 104 calls in the last quarter of this year (37 in November and 17 in December, in addition to the fifty in October).
Today, the Iona, 344.5 meters long, also celebrates its first stop in Cadiz.
