The award-winning company, Windstar Cruises, is about to reveal the clues for a huge scavenger hunt, which will take place between September 10 and October 1. The prize for this contest is a Windstar cruise for two. This contest is part of a celebration to commemorate the return of cruising and to promote future voyages aboard the company's small yachts. Currently, more than half of the Windstar fleet is sailing with vaccinated passengers and crew.
“Before our yachts were back in service, we spent a lot of time figuring out how to foster a desire to travel and enjoy future cruise vacations, and we created this scavenger hunt as a way to showcase what makes Windstar such a unique cruise experience,” said Betsy O’Rourke, Chief Marketing Officer of Xanterra Travel Collection, Windstar’s parent company. “Travel brings the joy of experiencing new things, sharing moments with loved ones, and making new friends. We hope this scavenger hunt inspires reflection on incredible past experiences and inspires future travel.”
The treasure hunt works like this: To find the location of the hidden treasure, players must watch 11 short videos hosted on Windstar's social media channels and on the sweepstakes page at WindstarCruises.com. Each video contains a number, letter, or symbol that, when combined, form a code revealing the treasure's location. Once players decipher the code, they can win up to $200 in onboard credit and are entered to win a Windstar cruise for two. The sweepstakes opens on September 10 and ends on October 1.
