The company has announced that due to the impact of COVID-19 and the ship's construction work, which was transferred to Astander for completion, its maiden voyage will be further delayed, with May 6, 2022 as the new date and Lisbon as the port of departure.
“While we are eager to welcome guests aboard Evrima, we have had to reassess the timing of our maiden voyage given the rapidly changing circumstances and their impact on the ship’s completion,” said Douglas Prothero, CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection
The shipping company is contacting affected travelers and their travel agents to change their travel dates or consider refund options.
