The T. Mariotti shipyards in Genoa, Italy, launched the new expedition ship Seabourn Venture, with Jarda Versloot-West, Senior Manager of Seabourn's expedition team, who joined the company 10 years ago, serving as godmother of the event.
She was accompanied by Seabourn Chairman Josh Leibowitz and T. Mariotti Managing Director Marco Ghiglione, who enjoyed the moment when a bottle of champagne was smashed against the hull of the new ship, as tradition dictates.
The Seabourn Venture is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on April 10, 2022, with a 12-day cruise around the British Isles.
