MSC Cruises' newest ship, the MSC Seashore, welcomed its first passengers this past weekend in Barcelona. The company's most innovative ship to date is the 19th to join the fleet, becoming its new flagship.
The first ship in the Seaside Evo class, which embarked its first passengers in Barcelona last Friday, has since made stops in Marseille, France, and Genoa, Italy, on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Today, it will welcome more passengers in Naples, Italy, as part of its inaugural seven-night Western Mediterranean voyage. MSC Seashore will continue its journey to Messina in Sicily, to visit Taormina and Mount Etna, before sailing to Valletta in Malta and returning to Barcelona to conclude its first voyage of the season. Once in Miami, MSC Seashore will offer seven-night cruises with two different itineraries. The first, in the Western Caribbean, includes stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica; George Town in the Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico. The second, in the Eastern Caribbean, includes stops in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie on the island of St. Thomas; and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Each cruise includes a stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises' new private island in the Bahamas.
