Royal Caribbean International announced today that its full fleet of ships will be sailing by spring 2022 (May). Spanning cruises from the Big Apple to Down Under, the next group of returning ships and itineraries will begin sailing safely in September, with the inaugural voyage of Oasis of the Seasfrom the New York area – a 7-night itinerary to Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, in The Bahamas. The cruise line’s continued return builds on its success over several consecutive months creating memorable and safe cruise vacations in Alaska, Asia, The Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Europe, and every returning ship will sail with the health and safety measures that have safeguarded the well-being of guests, crew, and destination communities to date. Vacationers and their families can once again seek adventure with Royal Caribbean's diverse fleet of ships and itineraries, offering a variety of cruise lengths and destinations around the world. The plans for the return of all 26 ships add to Royal Caribbean's previously announced milestones set to take place later this year, including the cruise line's return to California and the start of its first full winter season from Barbados.
Oasis, the ship that revolutionized the cruise industry, will set sail from the New York on September 5, becoming the first of the groundbreaking Oasis Class to do so, with 7-night itineraries to destinations in the Bahamas such as Perfect Day at CocoCay. Shortly after, on November 19, Navigator of the Seas will arrive in Los Angeles to set sail with West Coast vacationers on short 3-, 4-, and 5-night getaways to Catalina Island, California, and Mexico. Setting the stage for a bold 2022, December will bring Royal Caribbean’s highly anticipated return to two popular destinations on opposite sides of the world. Ovation of the Seas will return to Australia on December 13 to sail domestic cruises from Sydney, and Grandeur of the Seas will sail from Bridgetown, Barbados, on 7- and 14-night voyages to dream islands in the Southern Caribbean on December 5.

Royal Caribbean Health and Safety Measures
Travelers can plan their cruise with peace of mind knowing that Royal Caribbean requires all eligible crew members and guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. For travelers sailing from Florida, vaccination is strongly recommended for all eligible guests. Children under the eligible age on any cruise must be tested and follow other health and safety measures. The vaccination policy is one of several measures Royal Caribbean is taking to safeguard the well-being of all guests, crew members, and communities in every port of call. These protocols include robust ship ventilation systems, enhanced cleaning and disinfection, and sailing at reduced capacity when ships initially return to service.
Royal Caribbean is in discussions with multiple national, state, and local government and health authorities around the world regarding the various requirements for all upcoming voyages. Regardless of the departure port, the cruise line will follow guidelines recommended by health experts, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Health and safety measures will be evaluated as public health circumstances evolve, and guests and travel partners will be notified of updates.
