The TUI Cruises ship 'Mein Schiff 2' returns to the Port of Malaga today, marking its third stop since cruise tourism resumed on the peninsula from the port area.
As part of a domestic itinerary departing from Palma de Mallorca, the ship will remain docked at Cruise Terminal A throughout the day, continuing with the implementation of safety measures and the "bubble" cruise experience, whereby passengers visit the destination in an organized manner by the company itself. The ship has already visited the Port of Malaga on two other occasions, on June 15 and 22, demonstrating its commitment to safe tourism and contributing to the economic recovery of the sector.
Following this stop, the Port of Malaga expects to receive the AIDAperla this month, specifically on Tuesday, July 13. AIDA Cruises, which also caters to the German-speaking market, is the second cruise line to choose Malaga as a port of call during this reactivation phase. It will visit the port nine times during the summer and autumn seasons.
In this way, the Port of Malaga continues to gradually resume cruise tourism in the capital while maintaining the health protocols established by the authorities.
