Mundomar Cruceros reaches an agreement with Swan Hellenic for its distribution in Spain and Portugal, thus expanding its offer in expedition and luxury cruises.
Swan Hellenic is restarting operations with two new ships scheduled for delivery starting in November 2021. The first of these luxury vessels will be the SH Minerva, and the second, the SH Vega, will begin sailing in April 2022. These state-of-the-art, elegant ships feature Scandinavian design, reinforced hulls meeting polar category PC5 standards, and can accommodate 152 guests and 120 crew members with maximum comfort, taking adventurous passengers to exotic destinations such as Antarctica, the Arctic, New Zealand, New Guinea, Southeast Asia, and eastern Russia.
Passengers will use the Zodiacs available on board to explore the destinations. All explorations will begin in the stunning Basecamp area, a luxurious onboard changing room where guests can don their expedition gear and undergo disinfection upon return to prevent cross-contamination.
During the voyage, guests can enjoy luxurious spaces for observation and relaxation, including a heated infinity pool. Armchairs with heaters or a holographic fireplace will make the scenic cruise a truly unique experience. The Scandinavian style of Tillberg Design of Sweden, implemented in the elegant décor of the 54 cabins, with light woods, marble, and soft colors accented with pops of color, provides the warmth needed for maximum comfort.
In November 2021, the inaugural cruise of the new ship SH Minerva will be a trip to Antarctica, and on April 22, the ship SH Vega proposes an adventure through the unknown ports of the British Isles, before continuing its journey to the polar lands.
