Royal Caribbean International has announced that Wonder of the Seas, the revolutionary Oasis-class ship, will set sail from Shanghai and Hong Kong, China, in 2022 on exciting 4- to 9-night Far Eastern adventures to the best of Japan, among other destinations. Wonder, currently under construction in Saint-Nazaire, France, will be the world’s largest cruise ship and the first of its class to arrive in China in March 2022. Bookings for the ship’s inaugural season are now open. Between March and November, passengers can sail round-trip from Shanghai to Japan, where they can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the region. The choice of ports of call also includes Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Ishigaki, and Miyazaki in Japan.
The Wonder will be based in Hong Kong from November 2022 to January 2023, offering its highly anticipated Christmas and New Year sailings to various ports of call. Destinations include Chan May (Vietnam), Busan and Jeju (South Korea), Kochi and Okinawa (Japan), and Taipei (China).

Wonder is the fifth ship in Royal Caribbean's renowned Oasis Class. With a gross tonnage of 236,857, the ship is 362 meters long and 64 meters wide, and features a total of 18 decks and 2,867 staterooms to accommodate up to 6,988 guests. Highlights:

- Entertainment Place – where world-class artists light up the stage night after night in top-tier shows and original productions at the Royal Theatre, stunning ice skating shows or Karaoke Spotlight.
- Royal Promenade – The beating heart of the ship, where shopping, dining and entertainment come together.
- Vitality Spa & Fitness Center – The spa and fitness center offers a variety of dynamic exercise classes within the large-scale gym and spa treatments designed for ultimate relaxation. It also houses the Vitality Café.
- Youth Zone – A colorful and action-packed zone, home to the Adventure Ocean youth program and a nursery for babies and toddlers, and filled with innovative common spaces, educational activities, games and other excitements.
- Suite Neighborhood – The Wonder is the first Oasis-class ship with an exclusive area for suite guests, offering first-class dining, a new deck to enjoy unparalleled sea views, a private lounge and restaurant, etc.
