Celebrity Cruises has announced its long-awaited return to UK shores, with the company's president and CEO, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, confirming that its newly revamped ship, the Celebrity Silhouette, will set sail from Southampton this summer, offering new luxury stays for discerning British customers.
Sailing from Southampton from Saturday, July 3, the stunning new Celebrity Silhouette will embark on a series of six- to eight-night itineraries along the British coast. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the Jurassic Coast from Portland; discover bustling Scottish cities and iconic Highlands, including Inverness, Kirkwall, and Glasgow; uncover the rich history of Belfast; and immerse themselves in the creative and cultural hub of Liverpool, home of The Beatles. The new voyages go on sale from April 6.
The Celebrity Silhouette will sail with all passengers over 18 years of age vaccinated against COVID-19, and with those under 18 years of age having negative PCR test results.

The company's priority is the health and safety of passengers, crew, and residents of the destinations the Celebrity Silhouette will visit. The ship will sail with comprehensive health and safety measures in place. These measures, including vaccination and testing requirements, may change depending on evolving public health guidelines.
All previously scheduled trips on board the Celebrity Silhouette to the Baltic and Mediterranean, departing from June to August 2021, are cancelled.
