Silversea Cruises' newest ship, Silver Dawn, touched the water for the first time today during its stay at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy. The outfitting phase will now begin, during which Fincantieri's skilled craftspeople will bring the ship's elegant interiors to life. Silver Dawn will become the tenth ship in the Silversea Cruises fleet. With the delivery of Silver Origin and Silver Moon in 2020, and with Silver Dawn scheduled for delivery in November 2021, Silversea Cruises, and the global cruise industry as a whole, continues to demonstrate its remarkable resilience.

The Silver Dawn will be the third ship in the Muse-class series, a sister ship to Silversea's Silver Muse, built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri Ponente (Genoa) in April 2017, and the Silver Moon, which was delivered in Ancona in October 2020.
With accommodation for just 596 guests in 298 ocean-view suites – 96% of which will feature a private veranda – and a crew-to-passenger ratio of 1:1.45, Silver Dawn will maintain the intimate feel of a small ship and the spacious accommodations that are hallmarks of the Silversea experience. It will offer guests many exciting upgrades compared to Silver Muse and Silver Moon, which will be revealed in due course. Providing superlative comfort and an enhanced onboard experience, it will deliver authentic travel experiences for discerning Silversea guests in the world’s most spectacular destinations.
