Due to ongoing international travel restrictions and port closures resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Celestyal Cruises has announced its 2021 season will begin on April 24with the seven-night “Idyllic Aegean” itinerary. Guests with bookings on the canceled March and early April sailings will have the option to receive a refundable Future Cruise Credit (FCC) equal to 100% of the amount paid, plus an additional non-refundable voucher equal to 20% of the cruise fare paid. As an added measure of flexibility and in recognition of the pandemic’s long-term effects, Celestyal will allow guests who currently hold an FCC, as well as those about to receive one, to apply their FCC to upcoming 2023 itineraries, in addition to the 2021 and 2022 itineraries.
Celestyal is pleased to announce the relocation of its three- and four-night Iconic Aegean itinerary operations from the Port of Piraeus (Athens) to the Port and Marina of Lavrion (Athens), located just 25 kilometers from Athens Airport, with a similar travel time to the Port of Piraeus from the city center. The first four-night Iconic Aegean cruise will depart on April 26, while the three-night Iconic Aegean cruise will begin on April 30. Celestyal will operate from a new terminal in Lavrion, providing a faster and more efficient embarkation and disembarkation experience. The terminal will allow for the full implementation of comprehensive and enhanced health protocols, while ensuring that Celestyal's intensive three- and four-night itineraries run smoothly on schedule.
