As a result of the ongoing impact of Covid-19 and due to continued restrictions in the UK and around the world, Cunard has further extended its pause in operations until 28 May 2021 for the Queen Mary 2 and until 4 June 2021 for the Queen Elizabeth. The Queen Victoria's schedule remains unaffected and is scheduled to resume sailings on 17 May 2021.
Simon Palethorpe, President of Cunard, commented, “We deeply regret the disappointment we know this measure will cause our customers, and we apologize that our guests now have to wait a little longer to travel with Cunard again.” He added, “The response to our 2022 voyages, which went on sale just a few weeks ago, clearly demonstrates that our guests are eagerly anticipating traveling with us again, and we are equally eager to welcome our passengers back.”
Customers with affected bookings will automatically receive a credit for future sailing for 125% of the cost of their original trip or can request a cash refund.
