Silversea Cruises is introducing five groundbreaking “Grand Voyages” as part of its new collection of itineraries for 2022-2023. Offering passengers extensive and immersive journeys through Europe, the Pacific, and South America, the Grand Voyages highlight Silversea’s largest itinerary launch ever, featuring 315 voyages calling at 669 destinations and visiting 114 countries.
With an unprecedented range of experiences, the five Grand Voyages have been crafted by Silversea's destination experts to link the most remarkable cultures, landscapes, and experiences from around the world. Featuring round-trip flights—with upgrades to business class on select destinations—and at least one shore excursion included in each port of call per day, all voyages in Silversea's new 2022-2023 collection* will offer travelers unparalleled comfort as they journey to the depths of the world.
Five new Silversea Grand Voyages for 2022-2023:
– Silversea’s first-ever GRAND EUROPEAN JOURNEY – 72 destinations in 22 countries.
Connecting the Grand Mediterranean Voyage and the Grand Northern European Voyage for those seeking the longest and most immersive discovery of the Old Continent, Silversea’s first-ever Grand European Voyage will depart from Piraeus (Athens) on March 30, 2022. Traveling aboard Silver Moon, passengers will explore 72 destinations in 22 countries over 90 days, including Istanbul, Sorrento, Bordeaux, and St. Petersburg, among others, before arriving in Stockholm on June 28.
– The innovative GRAND MEDITERRANEAN JOURNEY – 33 destinations in 12 countries.
Between March 30 and May 6, passengers traveling aboard the Silver Moon on this itinerary will enjoy a tailor-made discovery journey through 33 destinations in 12 countries, including Greece, Turkey, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Malta, France, Monaco, Spain, and Portugal. Between Piraeus (Athens) and Lisbon, travelers will venture into captivating European cultures, exploring iconic ports as well as smaller, less-visited gems like Portofino and Dikili.
– The first GREAT JOURNEY THROUGH NORTHERN EUROPE – 40 destinations in 13 countries.
Setting sail on the world’s first Great Journey to Northern Europe on May 6, 2022, passengers will travel from Lisbon to Stockholm over 53 days, visiting 40 destinations in 13 countries aboard the Silver Moon. From the gentle backdrop of Lisbon on the Atlantic coast, travelers will venture to some of the most remote and extreme destinations in the Northern Hemisphere, immersing themselves in the cultures of Portugal, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, the Russian Federation, Finland, and Sweden.
– GREAT IMMERSIVE PACIFIC JOURNEY – 31 Destinations in 8 Countries.
For 58 days beginning January 16, 2023, travelers on the Great Pacific Journey will discover authenticity in 31 of the region’s most rewarding destinations, with seven overnight stops. From Melbourne, passengers will travel through eight countries aboard the Silver Muse—including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, and Japan—before arriving in Osaka on March 15.
– GREAT SOUTH AMERICAN JOURNEY – 39 Destinations in 23 Countries
Circumnavigating South America, Silver Moon will sail round trip from Fort Lauderdale on the new Great South American Journey between January 6 and March 16, 2023. Over 69 days and nine overnight stays, travelers will forge deep connections with the continent’s most fascinating cultures and spectacular landscapes as they explore 39 destinations in 23 countries. Socializing with like-minded travelers at tailor-made events, passengers will attend a private party at Valparaíso’s Casas del Bosque Winery, dance to the rhythm of Rio de Janeiro’s world-famous carnival, and enjoy a romantic evening under the stars on a private beach in St. Barts.
