Royal Caribbean International has released an update to its 2021 summer cruises, announcing upcoming changes to itineraries and home ports. The cruise line has adjusted its program to provide guests with greater variety for their 2021 adventures.
Highlights include new 4- and 5-night Mediterranean getaways from Barcelona, and more time on Caribbean islands with ships sailing from other popular U.S. cruise ports next summer, including Tampa, Florida and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Europe
The Adventure of the Seas will offer new 4- and 5-night Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona to historic destinations such as La Spezia and Rome, Italy; Ajaccio, Nice, and Marseille, France; and Palma and Ibiza, Spain.
The Jewel of the Seas will sail from Copenhagen and Stockholm on 7-night cruises that will call at picturesque Northern European ports: Helsinki, Finland; Tallinn, Estonia; and Visby, Sweden.
Caribbean
The Independence of the Seas will offer 6- and 8-night cruises from Miami to the southern and western Caribbean, visiting remote islands such as Aruba and Curaçao.
The Vision of the Seas will sail from San Juan on 7-night itineraries through the Southern Caribbean to exotic destinations such as Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis; St. John's, Antigua; Castries, St. Lucia; and Bridgetown, Barbados.
The Brilliance of the Seas will sail from Tampa on 4-, 5-, and 7-night cruises to the Caribbean.
Royal Caribbean's remaining summer 2021 cruises will sail as planned to the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. More than 200 destinations in over 50 countries will be served by 27 ships in 2021-22. In Europe, the newest ship, Odyssey of the Seas, will join Anthem and Harmony of the Seas and make its debut in Rome to kick off its inaugural European season. In Alaska, the region will see the cruise line's biggest season ever with four ships, including the newly arrived Quantum of the Seas. The Caribbean offers travelers a variety of itineraries, destinations, and ships, such as Mariner and Navigator of the Seas, which offer 3-night and 4-night Bahamas itineraries and Perfect Day at CocoCay. Oasis of the Seas will sail from New York for the first time. In Asia, passengers can sail aboard the region's newest ship, the Spectrum of the Seas, which offers 4- and 5-night cruises from Shanghai visiting Japan.
