AIDA Cruises, Germany's leading cruise line and part of Carnival Corporation & plc, will offer cruises this fall visiting Italy's top destinations, starting October 17, 2020.
The new seven-day itinerary departs from Civitavecchia, near Rome, and visits Palermo and Catania in Sicily, Naples and La Spezia, spending one night in Rome and with weekly departures until November 28, 2020.
AIDA's health and safety program, which will be implemented on all cruises, was developed with leading medical experts and has been audited and approved by the renowned independent auditing firm SGS Institut Fresenius and the classification society DNV-GL. The measures include free COVID-19 testing, regular temperature checks for passengers and crew, physical distancing, and enhanced disinfection protocols. The new Mediterranean cruises, as well as the rest of AIDA Cruises' offers, can be booked from Monday, September 21, through travel agencies, at the AIDA Customer Service Center or through their website.
