Due to travel restrictions caused by COVID-19, luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises has cancelled its remaining ocean and river cruises for 2020.
The company will offer affected guests a credit of 125% of the fully paid cruise value, plus a refund of port fees and other expenses, as well as hotels and flights booked through them.
“We express our deepest apologies for this situation, which is beyond our control and a great frustration for everyone. Everyone at Crystal, as well as the officers and crew on board our ships, are extremely disappointed to have to make this decision and hope that in the future we can explore together again,” the company said.
Crystal Cruises, which turned 30 last week, has also delayed the debut of its newest ship, Crystal Endeavour, until May 1, 2021.
