A-Rosa River Cruises will resume operations on June 17. With travel restrictions in 31 European countries set to be lifted by mid-June, the company will resume operations as follows:
- A-ROSA ALVA will resume operations on June 17th, sailing along the Duero River.
- Cruises sailing on the Rhine and Danube will begin on June 19 and 20, 2020.
- Cruises on the French rivers Seine and Rhône/Sana are planned for early July.
Should regulations related to the COVID pandemic change in any way by local authorities, and should the company need to modify its plans, A-ROSA would communicate these immediately.
A-ROSA has developed a comprehensive hygiene and health concept in collaboration with Dr. Jens Tülsner, who will continue to lend his expertise and advise A-ROSA as an in-house medical professional to ensure that its hygiene and distancing protocols are properly implemented.

Guests can rest assured that hygiene and health measures will be implemented in a way that does not affect their enjoyment, relaxation, and overall holiday experience. This will also be reflected in the dining experience, where local culinary specialties will be served. In addition to a wide variety of breakfast options, passengers will enjoy delicious table-served lunches and dinners inspired by the respective local regions. On the Danube, for example, there will be a Hungarian evening; north of the Rhine, the menu will be influenced by the Netherlands and Belgium; and south of the Rhine, A-ROSA will offer culinary delights such as Black Forest dinners and Swiss cuisine.
