Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings announces the extension of its cruise suspension until June 30

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., which operates the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands, announced Friday the extension of its previous suspension of all voyages to include departures between May 11 and June 30, 2020, for all three cruise brands. This decision contributes to global efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19. The company will continue to work closely with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. federal government, and global public health authorities to take all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of passengers, crew, and the destinations visited.

“We are committed to taking all necessary measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, and for this reason, we have extended the suspension of our voyages until June 30. We continue to work closely with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), global public health authorities, and local, state, and federal governments to redesign our rigorous health and safety protocols and ensure our brands are ready to safely resume operations with these new protocols,” explained Frank del Rio, President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. Del Rio added, “Our teams are working around the clock to do the right thing, always keeping our loyal guests and valued travel companions in mind, and we greatly appreciate their understanding as we continue to adapt to the evolving global health landscape.”

Passengers who currently have bookings for voyages with embarkation dates between May 11 and June 30, 2020 with Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, or Regent Seven Seas Cruises are kindly requested to contact their travel agent or the cruise line for further information.
