The German shipping company has announced the suspension of operations until early April due to the increase in Covid-19 cases, which are causing major travel restrictions in the countries they are heading to.
As a tour operator and employer, we have a great responsibility to our guests and crew members. That is why we made a significant effort today to temporarily suspend AIDA's travel season until early April 2020.
It is very important to us to make your long-awaited AIDA holiday a reality as soon as possible, in the usual way. For your new booking before May 31, 2020, we thank you for your flexibility with an attractive onboard credit.
Simply book your new trip and us your old and new booking numbers to gaesteinfo@aida.de . AIDA will process your payments and credit them to your new booking. You will then receive an updated booking confirmation.
If you have already booked onboard services or excursions through your MyAIDA travel portal, we will cancel them. The corresponding amount will be refunded to the account specified in the payment or credit card.
Furthermore, starting Monday, March 16, 2020, trips booked for departure between April 3, 2020, and May 31, 2020, can be rebooked free of charge*.
This also applies: simply book your new trip before May 31, 2020 , and email us your old and new booking numbers.
