Global Ports Holding Plc has announced the appointment of Andy Stuart as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
Stuart was until recently President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line.
Board members Thierry Edmond Déau and Thomas Josef Maier were removed from their roles as independent non-executive directors of the company following the board meeting on February 24. Both Déau and Maier had decided not to stand for re-election at the next annual meeting, agreeing to step down to allow new members to join the board as soon as possible.
The process of appointing a second non-executive director, with experience in UK limited companies, is underway.
Stuart worked at Norwegian Cruise Line for more than 30 years, and prior to becoming President and CEO, he held various senior executive roles.
